BURNHILL GREEN KITCHEN
Our clients had looked at our website and were intrigued about our ‘one stop shop’ – they needed to make significant structural changes to their house, complete listed building and planning applications and find someone who could build and install their kitchen. They commissioned us because we were able to do all this for them. The kitchen area was severely compromised by a very large and substantial chimney breast that prevented our client from making the most of the space that otherwise would have been available to them and that would allow them to create a kitchen that was commensurate with the scale of the rest of their living space.
HOW WE HELPED
Having previously been advised that the removal of the chimney breast was not an option we reviewed the situation with a structural engineer and came up with a solution that was satisfactory in structural terms and that could be approved by the planning department. We were able to implement the removal of the chimney.
This work provided the opportunity for us to optimise the kitchen design and create an impressive island kitchen and entertainment area.
QUOTE FROM CLIENT
“The fact that they are a family business and that all of our cabinets were made by the team at their workshop was a significant bonus for us. My wife and I now have a kitchen of which we are justifiably proud.”
